Yes to your dreams! I’ve been here before, that place where you say you’re going to take more risks, accept new challenges and step out of your comfort zone, only to make excuses and find reasons why you can’t. Dreams are only dreams in your imagination and thought until you make them a reality, which may require stepping out on faith, more saying yes.
I love the book, Year of Yes, by Shonda Rhimes, her stories of breaking through her own comfort zone and the little things that have a greater impact in the moment, like a few minutes with your child when you’re feeling rushed to get to the next thing. The value of ‘Yes’ is often more than what meets the eye. Her stories are so relatable. If you haven’t yet, I suggest you read (or listen to) Year of Yes.
